What the project set out to build

The project aimed to develop a prototype that uses structured sports statistics to produce distinct articles, match reports and summaries after sporting events. Publishers would be able to select coverage by criteria such as sport, tournament or league.

The prototype was intended to be tested in racket sports, including tennis, badminton and padel. Its research included training a language model to create different forms of content from statistical data.

Intended use and outcomes

The solution was designed for news publishers, sports teams and other organisations that need timely sports coverage. The planned workflow included content checks, recommendations for headlines, metadata and URL structure, and delivery to a client or integration with their website.

These are the objectives described in the original project notice. Current product availability is described separately on the Contentfeed homepage.
